Fall Cut and Color Refresh • Jesus Yvette Salon

This was my first time getting my hair done in quite some time--I was getting tired of the blonde ends that served me well through summer but now I wanted to get back to my rich browns and soft highlights that are more natural to my head of hair.

I chose to go to a local specialist in balayage since I knew I would need some serious blending for my new color and happily chose Jesus Yvette Salon after working with some wedding clients that had absolutely loved what she was able to do. Also, if you check out her Instagram you'll see some pretty impressive before-and-after shots that just blow my mind--what she does is certainly an art.

Jesus Yvette worked her magic with a partial balayage and baby highlights to give me a strong new base and finished off by toning my head with redken 5th ave 8gn from shadeseq. She also did a super awesome Brazilian Blowout deep conditioning mask which I had never had before but left my hair feeling smooth like melted butter which she had paired with a Brazilian Blowout split-end treatment because we both knew I needed it.

While in her salon I also went home with this trio of a hair treatment regimen to keep my hair soft and well maintained, as well as to keep those split ends away.

She finished me off with gave her a good cut and soft curls to add some curves and voila, I was ready to face the new season ahead.

What's a favorite treat you have for a new season?
