Travel Journal • Scotland to Ireland

I'm on a ferry right now which is like a mini cruise across an hour long journey over from the Isle of Mull to Oban. Mull was very anticlimactic and we didn't really like it there. It's like a boat town where everyone drinks and smokes and is much more vulgar and yucky compared to the rest of Scotland that we have seen so far.

Driving the Isle of Mull listening to Cold War Kids on Spotify was a neat way to spend the afternoon. My fav part was coming up in some old ships that suffered a wreck a while back.

I also managed to find a day warm enough to wear my thinner tights, it was like 40F degrees with a windchill added.

Today our Airbnb host made us a full Scottish breakfast with homemade lemon curd and jam for our toast, also with black pudding and beef and pork sausage and a hash brown and egg. Sooo good. Last night she welcomed us with tea and coffee and whiskey cake and homemade shortbread.
